I. Job Summary 
 
Responsible for servicing assigned LQ (Large Quantity) and SQ (Small Quantity) accounts in the most professional way, ensuring that customers' needs are met on a continual basis for various waste pickup and supply delivery. Always provides the highest level of customer service possible. May also transport waste from either a WMHS location or customer location, to a transfer location or processing location. 
 
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
<ul><li>Manages assigned routes ensuring customers&rsquo; waste is picked up in a timely and accurate manner</li><li>
Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, provincial, and local rules and regulations</li><li>
Plans daily schedule based on customers&rsquo; needs by reviewing daily paperwork, e.g., manifest, route sheets, previous VCR, etc. provided by the Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher</li><li>
May prepare and load trucks to service select accounts for the delay ensuring enough supplies are added</li><li>
Pick up specified waste from each customer site scheduled for the day. Ensures that customers have packaged and prepared the waste according to all federal, provincial, and local rules and regulations before transporting</li><li>
Provide the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts on a daily basis, communicating any issues to Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher for resolution. This includes, but is not limited to re-routes, adjustments in container sizes, training, etc.</li><li>
Ensures waste, supplies, and material handling equipment are secured prior to operating vehicle on public highway</li><li>
Ensures that assigned paperwork is completed legibly, neatly, accurately, and completely and returned to Transportation Supervisor or Dispatcher for processing. Ensures DOT Driver Log is completed, if applicable</li><li>
Communicates with Stericycle Transportation Supervisor and/or Dispatcher regarding any change to route pickups, including address changes, customer not having waste ready for pickup, etc. Ensures that employee covering for specific route is aware of any situations outside the norm in order to provide the highest level of customer service. Reports any problems/issues with accounts to Transportation Supervisor and/or Dispatcher before the close of business each day</li><li>
Performs pre-trip and post-trip maintenance on assigned truck prior to leaving or closing for the day. Reports any maintenance problems to Transportation/Dispatcher for follow-up</li></ul> 
III. Qualifications
 
 
A. Required Qualifications 
 
<ul><li>Completion of an accredited driving school</li><li>
2 years preferably in driving vehicles from at least 3 ton up to a tractor trailer 53ft and previous experience required with mountain driving experience.</li><li>
Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License A with Airbrake/Hydraulics Endorsement (or equivalent)</li><li>
All CMV/CDL drivers must be able to obtain a medical card by a certified medical examiner</li></ul> 
B. Preferred Qualifications

About the role
The CDL Driver II will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non‑hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. Drivers will operate a variety of manual and automatic transmission equipment including tankers, roll off trucks, end dumps, walking floor trailers, and vans. About the role
The CDL Driver I will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non‑hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. Drivers will operate a box truck to complete these routes, ensuring safe handling and timely delivery of materials.
Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>
Drive commercial vehicles to safely transport goods/materials over long distances according to established safety procedures and DOT regulations while meeting scheduled appointments</li><li>
Drive trucks and operate specialized pump equipment on vehicles to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.</li><li>
Perform pre/post trip inspections of vehicle and equipment</li></ul>
Additional Responsibilities<ul><li>
Administrative tasks and paperwork as it relates to transportation of hazardous/non-hazardous materials and vehicle/equipment maintenance (i.e., manifests, bills of lading, medical waste tracking, logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspections, incident reports, etc.)
</li><li>Ensure the placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations.</li><li>
Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers regarding instructions, delivery status and any potential delays, etc.</li><li>

About the role
The Class A CDL Driver will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and Customer sites. This position will consist of operating van trailers hauling containerized waste, i.e. (Drums, Totes, Pallets) and other equipment including vacuum tankers, roll off trailers, and dump trailers. 
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Drive commercial vehicles and operate specialized pump equipment on vehicles to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials in a safe manner while following all EPA and DOT regulations and meeting scheduled appointment times.</li><li>
Prepare customer manifests specific to the product delivered and obtain customer signatures.</li><li>
Complete accurate electronic Driver Logs daily.</li><li>
Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, and shipping manifests according to state and federal regulations.</li><li>
Communicate, verbally and electronically, with dispatch regarding pick-up and delivery instructions.</li><li>
Interpret maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.</li><li>
Perform daily pre trip and post trip inspections thoroughly on items such as tires, lights, brakes, air lines, oil, coolant, permit books, etc.</li><li>
Secure cargo prior to and during transit.</li><li>
Ensure and maintain elite standards of all operating equipment including but not limited to: Organized and cleanliness of the inside cab, outside cab, outside tanks, hoses, trays, fittings, and all other ancillary parts.</li><li>
Complete additional assigned duties.</li></ul>
Requirements:<div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED preferred (Reworld provides a fully funded GED Works program).</li><li>
Positive, customer‑focused, team‑oriented mindset.</li><li>
Must be 21 years or older for interstate commercial driving.</li><li>
Valid Class A CDL.</li><li>
Tanker endorsement required; HazMat preferred but not required.</li><li>
Minimum 2+ years of commercial driving experience.</li><li>
Previous experience labeling, manifesting, or transporting hazardous and non‑hazardous waste containers is a plus.</li><li>
Clean driving record.</li><li>
Ability to work 10&ndash;12 hour shifts Monday&ndash;Friday plus one weekend per month.</li><li>
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.</li><li>
Must be responsible, organized, and demonstrate strong safety awareness.</li><li>
Must meet FMCSR 391.15 requirements with no disqualifications.</li><li>
Must comply with all DOT regulations at all times.</li><li>
Ability to pass a DOT physical.</li></ul></div>

Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, and lift or carry up to 50 lbs.</li><li>
Ability to work at heights and in tight or confined spaces.</li><li>
Ability to dolly and maneuver 55‑gallon drums, pallet‑jack totes, cubic‑yard boxes, and pallets.</li><li>
Ability to carry and connect vacuum hoses over different terrain and distances.</li><li>
Ability to consistently work in all weather conditions.</li><li>
Adequate visual and hearing ability required for safe operation.</li></ul></div>

Pay Transparency
Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld&rsquo;s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.
The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $43,100.00 - $57,400.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.

I. Job Summary 
 
Responsible for transporting waste from either a Stericycle location or customer location, to a transfer location or processing location. 
 
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
<ul><li>Manages assigned routes ensuring that medical waste is transported in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li>
Responsible for picking up and transporting waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations</li><li>
Plans daily schedule based on Stericycle or customer needs by reviewing daily paperwork, e.g., manifest, route sheets, previous VCR, etc. provided by Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher.</li><li>
Communicates any issues to Transportation Manager/Supervisor and/or Dispatcher for resolution.</li><li>
Ensures load is secured prior to operating vehicle on public highway.</li><li>
Ensures that assigned paperwork is completed legibly, neatly, accurately, and completely and returned to Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher, at the time of debriefing, for processing.</li><li>
Communicates with Stericycle Transportation Manager/Supervisor and/or Dispatcher regarding any change to pickups. Ensures that Route Manager servicing the specific route is aware of any situations outside the norm in order to provide the highest level of customer service. Reports any problems/issues with accounts to the Transportation Manager/Supervisor and/or Dispatcher before the close of business each day.</li><li>
Performs a documented pre-trip inspection on vehicles prior to leaving yard to commence route. Performs a documented post-trip inspection on vehicles prior to being debriefed for the day. Reports any maintenance problems to Transportation Manager/Supervisor and/or Dispatcher for follow-up. Ensures all defects have been corrected prior to operating the vehicles again.</li><li>
Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.</li></ul> 
III. Qualifications
 
 
A. Required Qualifications 
 
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED</li><li>
1 year of related experience driving vehicles from at least 5 tons and completion of an accredited driving school is preferred.</li><li>
Class 1/or CDL A license and Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL) is required for long-haul position</li></ul>
