Job Responsibilities:

Education and Qualifications

<li>Manages projects from planning to design and construction of wastewater conveyance systems including pipelines, pump stations, storage, and end-of-pipe treatment facilities.</li>
<li>Leads development of construction documents/specifications and handling engineering services during construction.</li>
<li>Meets established budgets and delivery schedules for each assignment; for project/task scope, schedule, and budget.</li>
<li>Coordinates execution of projects with other disciplines.</li>
<li>Develops medium to large planning and design projects from inception to completion.</li>
<li>Prepares complete construction packages (including all deliverables) for the engineering, procurement, and construction of WW conveyance systems for clients.</li>
<li>Creates and manages cost estimates and project schedules and will be responsible for completing design tasks within budget and on schedule.</li>
<li>Performs detailed engineering calculations & analysis and utilizes design software to solve complex issues.</li>
<li>Supervises and supports the work of others and mentors junior level engineer & design/drafting technical staff.</li>
</ul>
Education and Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>10 - 15 years' experience in the planning, design, and construction municipal WW conveyance.</li>
<li>Bachelors' degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field of study.</li>
<li>Experience preparing, reviewing, and approving project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.</li>
<li>Experience in process design, treatment plants upgrades and pump station design.</li>
<li>Client relationship skills: including preparation and development of proposals and client management experience with a successful record of accomplishment, delivering a variety of engineering projects that meet or exceed the expectations of the client</li>
<li>Strong data analysis and technical problem solving.</li>
<li>Willingness to develop competence in a broad array of engineering related tasks</li>
<li>Ability to train and mentor junior level staff.</li>
<li>Successful track record of proposal writing and development.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.</li>
<li>P.E. required.</li>
</ul>
The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 annually.
 The employment offer may deviate from this published range based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, specialty, knowledge, education, geography and/or related certifications – not related to any applicant’s characteristics protected by local, state or federal law.
