Essential Functions
Website Maintenance and Management<div><ul><li>
Develops and maintains an ongoing strategy for ensuring online content is current, consistent, audience-appropriate and accurate across multiple sites, to promote an integrated and high-quality user experience.</li><li>
Oversees administration of the web content management system (Sitecore) and training of CFP Board staff on how to use the CMS.</li><li>
Ensures website compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).</li><li>
Manages the overall work activities of the Web Communications Specialist, including establishing performance objectives, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating employee development.</li><li>
Leads and coordinates QA and testing efforts for new features, content updates, and releases, ensuring functionality, accuracy, and a high-quality user experience across all web properties.</li><li>
Lead and execute A/B testing on content, layout, CTAs, design to improve conversion rates and inform data-driven website decisions.</li><li>
Maintains clear visibility into all active and upcoming website initiatives, ensuring effective tracking, prioritization, and follow-through, including ownership of the digital roadmap and intake process for all major website initiatives.</li></ul></div>
Content Management<div><ul><li>
Reviews and approves content for CFP Board&rsquo;s websites, working with department representatives to complete updates in a timely manner consistent with organizational standards.</li><li>
Oversees online content to ensure proper voice, tone and style, visual guidelines and brand usage.</li><li>
Ensures all content follows brand guidelines.</li><li>
Maintains production and editorial calendars for online content.</li><li>
Collaborates with CFP Board staff in the development and implementation of effective, integrated marketing and communications plans that include websites, social media, email, advertising, events and other forms of communication.</li></ul></div>
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Expertise:<ul><li>
Monitor website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to assess traffic, engagement, and performance of traffic to provide actionable insights.</li><li>
Set up, configure, and manage GA4 to track website performance, user behavior, and key events.</li><li>
Analyze user data to optimize website content and performance, improving engagement and conversion rates.</li><li>
Defines success metrics for website content strategy and UX, ensuring that relevant data is collected in analytics and used correctly to improve results.</li></ul>
Search Engine Optimization and Generative Engine Optimization (SEO and GEO):<ul><li>
Implement and optimize on-page and off-page SEO and GEO strategies to drive traffic.</li><li>
Track and report on keyword rankings, organic traffic, LLM citations and user behavior to identify growth opportunities.</li><li>
Manage and implement the search engine optimization (SEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and conversion rate optimization (CRO) efforts.</li></ul>
Design &amp; User Experience (UX):<div><ul><li>
Monitors usability and effectiveness for CFP Board&rsquo;s websites, ensures compliance with relevant web accessibility guidelines and identifies areas for improvement and provides recommendations.</li><li>
Collaborate with designers and UX specialists to improve the website&rsquo;s design, functionality and navigation.</li><li>
Ensure website is mobile-friendly and responsive across all devices.</li></ul></div>
Collaboration &amp; Communication:<ul><li>
Work with IT, UX/design, content and marketing teams to align the website with broader business strategies and campaigns as well as coordinate project planning, budgeting and rollouts.</li><li>
Navigate stakeholder priorities effectively, understanding downstream impacts to support timely, well-informed decision-making.</li><li>
Coordinate with external vendors, agencies or freelancers for additional support or services.</li><li>
Monitors trends and best practices for websites, incorporating the latest technologies and tools to enhance CFP Board&rsquo;s online properties and assets.</li><li>
Oversees webinars and related technical training, monitoring and scheduling.</li><li>
Coordinate and support regular evening or off-hours code deployments as needed.</li><li>

Background/Skills/Abilities Preferred<div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in communications, marketing, web design or other related field.</li><li>
Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience with website development and design/UX concepts, and with writing and editing for websites and digital communications.</li><li>

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</h2><ul><li>4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience</li><li>Experience managing influencer marketing budgets and demonstrating ROI.</li><li>Proven track record of managing influencer relationships directly (not through agencies), including hands-on creator outreach, relationship building, and day-to-day partnership management</li><li>Experience negotiating influencer contracts, including usage rights, content licensing, exclusivity terms, and compensation structures</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
