Compliance &amp; Quality Assurance:<ul><li>Ensure strict adherence to project-specific standards, codes (e.g., ASME Section IX, API 1104), and client specifications.</li><li>Conduct audits of welding consumable storage, handling, and issue procedures.</li><li>Verify preheat and interpass temperature controls and Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) cycles as required.</li><li>Promote and enforce safe work practices and a culture of quality on-site.</li></ul>4. Coordination &amp; Liaison:<ul><li>Interface with welding supervisors, foremen, engineers, and client representatives.</li><li>Coordinate schedule of inspections with construction and production teams to avoid delays.</li><li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior inspectors and welding crews on quality requirements.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; RequirementsMandatory:<ul><li>A valid CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification from TWI or an equivalent (AWS Certified Welding Inspector - CWI is highly desirable).</li><li>Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Welding Technology, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Welding Inspector in the oil &amp; gas, petrochemical, power plant, or major construction sectors.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of international welding codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API, ISO).</li><li>Proven experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, isometrics, and P&amp;IDs.</li><li>Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and report writing.</li><li>Excellent command of written and spoken English.</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Additional NDT Level II certifications (RT, UT, MT, PT).</li><li>Previous experience working in Qatar or the GCC, with knowledge of local regulations (e.g., QCS 2014).</li><li>Arabic language skills are an advantage.</li><li>Experience with computerized welding data recording and monitoring systems.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
