Your dedication to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction will be key to your success.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment adjustments using hand tools and power tools.</li><li>Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair sheet metal and structural components.</li><li>Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying equipment to achieve a smooth, professional finish.</li><li>Replace and install auto glass, ensuring proper sealing and fitment for safety and aesthetics.</li><li>Fabricate custom parts or modifications using sheet metal fabrication techniques to meet specific repair needs.</li><li>Maintain mechanical knowledge to assist with vehicle maintenance tasks and minor mechanical repairs when necessary.</li><li>Detail vehicles post-repair, including sanding, polishing, and cleaning to ensure a high-quality finish that exceeds customer expectations.</li><li>Use auto estimating software to assess damages accurately and communicate repair scopes effectively with customers.</li><li>Assist in auto restoration projects by restoring vintage or damaged vehicles to their original condition with attention to detail.</li><li>Operate heavy lifting equipment safely for moving large parts or vehicles within the shop environment.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role within a dealership or independent shop setting.</li><li>Strong proficiency in auto body repair techniques including auto painting, sanding, dent removal, and panel replacement.</li><li>Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and working with sheet metal materials.</li><li>Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems for effective vehicle diagnosis and minor repairs.</li><li>Experience with hand tools, power tools, auto glass installation, and auto estimating software is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repair processes and timelines.</li><li>Knowledge of auto restoration projects is a plus; mechanic experience is advantageous but not required.
