This is a remote position based in the Aurora area (you must live in this area) and requires experience working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities as well as a strong background in wound care. The ideal candidate must be comfortable driving distances up to 2 hours away.
Starting salary for this position is $75,000/yr

Wound Care Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing homes and long-term care facilities in the management of wounds and wound-related conditions</li><li>
Develop and implement wound care plans for residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team</li><li>
Educate and train nursing home staff on proper wound care techniques, products and equipment usage</li><li>
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper wound care is provided in a timely manner</li><li>
Monitor and document the progress of wounds and adjust wound care plans as needed</li><li>
Maintain current knowledge of best practices in wound care and stay abreast of new developments in the field</li></ul>
Wound Care Requirements:<ul><li>
Active nursing license</li><li>
At least 3 years of nursing experience in nursing homes or long-term care facilities</li><li>
Wound care certification preferred</li><li>
Strong understanding of wound care principles and practices</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>
Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office</li><li>
Must be comfortable driving distances up to 2 hours away</li></ul>
