Qualifications</p><div><ul>

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:</b></div><div>
The Butte College Social Work program seeks an innovative and committed faculty member to help shape a newly established program at a pivotal moment in its development. Social Work in one of the largest transfer pathways at Butte College, with many students continuing their studies at California State University, Chico, and other four-year institutions. With the recent approval of the Associate in Arts for Transfer in Social Work, this position offers a unique opportunity to define the program's identity, strengthen transfer alignment, and build partnerships with regional universities and community agencies. The program prepares students for transfer and entry into human services fields, emphasizing case management, advocacy, ethical practice, and culturally responsive work with diverse populations, and is strongly committed to student-centered instruction, equity, and community engagement.</div></div><p></p>

Master&rsquo;s in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy or marriage, family and child counseling; <b>OR</b></li>
<li> (Applicants wishing to be considered for employment under District equivalency standards must submit a detailed statement explaining how you possess the equivalent to the minimum qualifications.)</li></ul><i>
(NOTE: A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in one of the listed degrees and a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) is an alternative qualification for this discipline.)</i><div></div><div><b><br>
