JOB SUMMARY
The Shift Supervisor works within a 24-bed residential psychiatric treatment facility for children ages 6-12. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coaching and overseeing direct care staff on shift, ensuring a trauma-informed team approach and overseeing smooth shift operations
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Serve as a co-crisis leader alongside the on-shift nurse to ensure safe, effective responses during critical incidents.
</li><li>Oversee daily shift operations, including the coordination and delivery of youth programming.
</li><li>Manage shift staffing, including scheduling and securing coverage for call-outs to maintain appropriate ratios.
</li><li>Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with fellow Shift Supervisors to support staffing, program needs during off-hours (additional stipend provided for on-call work).
</li><li>Maintain organized, safe, and well-functioning common areas, while supporting departmental procedures and overall environmental safety.
</li><li>Provide on-the-floor training, coaching, and professional development for direct care staff.
</li><li>Deliver direct care to youth as needed to maintain staffing ratios and ensure quality support.

Experience and Skills:

Basic Assignment: The Program Coordinator will lead and manage an After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles (ASAS-LA) site that ensures a safe and dynamic program environment that educates, enlightens, and inspires youth in an after-school setting. The Program Coordinator will drive program attendance, demonstrate initiative, and develop creative strategies to attract and retain participants. 
Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience working in a leadership or supervisory capacity in an afterschool, day camp, or youth-based organization.</li><li>Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with School District staff, public officials, private sector officials, parents, and community leaders.</li><li>Familiarity with quality criteria for expanded learning programming is highly desirable.</li><li>Ability to develop and execute programs that accommodate diverse learning styles and interests.</li><li>Experience working in ethnic and culturally diverse communities is highly desirable</li><li>Ability to communicate (verbal and written communication) effectively in a team environment.

Major Functions:<ul><li> Supervise all staff and volunteers in the ASAS-LA program at a site and provide access to meaningful and relevant professional development opportunities. JOB SUMMARY:
 
The Program Supervisor is the on-site lead of a Think Together specialized program (e.g., High Dosage Tutoring, Accelerators, Yard Duty Supervisors, etc.) operated on a partner school campus. The PS I is responsible for overseeing day-to-day program operations at a single site, ensuring safety, quality, and alignment with organizational and school district guidelines. This role supports a positive student experience and fosters effective communication with school staff, parents, and internal team members. The PS I directly supervise site-level program staff, manages student attendance and data, and serves as the primary liaison between Think Together and the school community. This position requires hands-on coordination of daily logistics and a strong focus on student engagement, program quality, and staff support. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Support Case Management services with the goal of developing positive relationships with young people through the utilization of the case management system, including:

Program Overview: 
 
Memphis Allies, launched by Youth Villages, is a bold, collaborative initiative designed to reduce gun violence and build safer, stronger neighborhoods across Memphis. The program brings together community groups, organizations, and local resources to expand opportunities for adults, youth, and their families while addressing the root causes of violence.
At the heart of this effort is the Support with Intent To Create Hope (SWITCH) model&mdash;an innovative approach that combines street outreach and life coaching with intensive clinical services and case management. Through SWITCH and SWITCH Youth, Memphis Allies staff identify, connect with, and support adults (ages 19 to 30) and youth (ages 12 to 19) at the highest risk of involvement in gun violence, who may have been recently arrested, on probation, or are re-entering the community after incarceration. By meeting individuals where they are and surrounding them with consistent support, Memphis Allies is working to build stability and safety, change lives, reduce gun violence, and strengthen communities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
The SWITCH Youth Case Manager:<ul><li>
Carries a caseload of approximately 30 youth</li><li>
Conducts weekly in-person sessions as needed</li><li>
Provides therapeutic services in the home as well as other community-based locations</li><li>
Connects the youth, young adult, family, and caregivers with resources as needed</li><li>
Works to collaborate with other partners and services the youth, young adult, family, and caregivers are involved in</li><li>
Provides accurate and detailed information to the Supervisor in a timely manner in the event of a crisis</li><li>
Adheres to guidelines set as a mandated reporter under the guidance of the Clinical Supervisor, Regional Supervisor, and Licensed Program Expert</li><li>
Adheres to Youth Villages' confidentiality, ethical, and legal guidelines</li><li>
Develops and implements a Professional Development Plan to increase the skills necessary for professional growth</li><li>
Attends 3 weekly meetings (individual, team, and clinical consultation) for professional development and quarterly booster training sessions to enhance clinical skills</li><li>
Provides on-call crisis support to youth and adults (schedules vary by location but require 24/7 availability)</li><li>
Completes accurate and timely documentation in an electronic medical record system (EMR)</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul>
Additional Information:
<ul><li>Schedule is flexible and non-traditional as it is based around the availability of the youth, adults, and families served.</li><li>
Applicants must possess a current, valid driver&rsquo;s license, an automobile for work purposes, and proof of auto insurance.</li><li>
Community-based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage.</li></ul> 
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree (required)</li><li>
Must have lived in Memphis, TN for a minimum of two years (preferred)</li><li>
Credibility and cultural competency (required)</li><li>
Experience with case management (preferred)</li><li>
Experience working with youth and families in need of crisis intervention (preferred)</li><li>
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>
Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously</li><li>
Basic computer knowledge</li><li>
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule</li></ul>
