Duties

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as pruning, aerating, and installing irrigation systems
• Support irrigation system checks and repairs to ensure optimal watering schedules and plant health
• Conduct routine lawn care tasks like mowing, fertilizing, and weed control to promote lush, healthy turf
• Perform general gardening duties such as mulching, soil preparation, and planting new greenery
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris and ensuring tools are properly stored after use
• Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols

Experience

• Prior experience or training in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping equipment is a plus
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, and pest management
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining grounds aesthetics and safety standards

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
