Seasonal Bartender for Casablanca Cruises

The Casablanca is Portland's premier concert cruise and private event vessel, offering unforgettable experiences on Casco Bay. From live music cruises and corporate outings to private celebrations and special events, our team creates a fun, high-energy atmosphere with some of the best views in Maine. We're looking for outgoing, hardworking bartenders who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy creating memorable guest experiences. The Casablanca hosts concert cruises, private charters, weddings, corporate events, and celebrations throughout the season. The vessel accommodates up to 149 guests and operates from Portland's waterfront.

This is a seasonal position with significant earning potential through hourly pay and tips.

Availability Requirements

• Must be available 5 days per week during the season
• Weekend availability is required
• Morning training shifts are required prior to working events and cruises
• Flexible availability for daytime, evening, and event-based schedules is preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional service to guests throughout cruises and private events
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately
• Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws
• Recommend beverages and upsell at appropriate opportunities
• Process payments accurately using the POS system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service
• Work closely with fellow bartenders, servers, event staff, and captains to ensure smooth operations
• Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and cleaning duties
• Create a fun, welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including while the vessel is underway
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive motions such as mixing, pouring, carrying, and stocking
