Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve food and drinks efficiently in a fast-paced setting by engaging with guests
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
  • Operate the TOAST POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling for order processing, billing, and cash handling with precision
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food handling and safety standards
  • Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
  • Strong knowledge of TOAST POS system efficiently for efficient order management
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally
  • Effective time management to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high service standards
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and alcohol serving regulations
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for billing, cash handling, and retail math purposes
  • Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus; familiarity with brewing or food industry trends is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor that enhances guest interactions
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service, especially during peak hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
