SEASONAL FLOWER AND PLANTING BED SPECIALIST

FULL TIME WORK BETWEEN $22.00 - $30.00 PER HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE.

Seasonal flower and plant specialist needed to start immediately. Ideal candidate will be creative and have experience in plant lay-out, installation, and maintanance of vibrant plant displays. Must be able to create spring /summer/ fall and holiday plantings, complete annual rotation, and container gardening. This Specialist can complete all required services independently and, when needed, manage a team of workers as a crew leader.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: comprehensive flower care, watering, weeding, mulching, fertilizing, deadheading, and disease control to ensure optimal curb appeal.

Make yourself stand out! Training and coaching experience will be a plus. Experience in both commercial and high-end residential projects is preferred but not required.

Must provide work history and references, and a valid driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities & Services:

• Design & Installation: Custom design and installation of annual flower beds, perennials, and containers including planters and hanging baskets.
• Seasonal Rotation: Swapping out plant displays for spring, summer, fall, and winter to ensure year-round color and interest.
• Maintenance: Routine weeding, pruning, deadheading, plant grooming, soil preparation, and applying mulch.
• Watering & Fertilization: Watering and soil nutrition management, including fertilizing.
• Tracking Growth and Monitoring for pests and diseases, providing soil preparation, and applying mulch.
• Communication skills and ability to recommend solutions to clients when requested.

Required Skills:

• Horticultural Knowledge: Understanding plant requirements, varieties, and disease recognition.
• Creative Design: Ability to create high-impact displays and garden installation.
• Independent: Able to be a leader of both themselves and others. Manual labor includes but is not limited to planting, watering, weeding, lifting, shoveling, digging and carrying materials.
• Valid Driver’s License

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
