Seasonal F/T CDL Class B or Higher Driver - Box Truck

Great opportunity for retired or semi-retired professionals looking for a steady, seasonal, full-time schedule with no weekend work delivering pool supplies to dealers and residential customers across Illinois and boarding states within 250 miles of Distribution Center located in East Peoria, IL. We value family! Our drivers are home nights and weekends with the potential for overtime.

Straight trucks (manual transmissions) with powered liftgates and power jacks. Product is palletized 90% of the time. Leave in morning return that evening. Some pickups for return products or back hauling after deliveries.

Three or four days and week with 10 hour days.

Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements are not required for hire but will increase potential.

Vehicle Operation: Safely operate a straight truck equipped with a manual transmission and powered liftgate.

Route Delivery: Follow a designated route to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

Loading/Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading inventory using a manual or powered pallet jack, at times drivers may be required to hand unload and lift up to 50 lbs.

Inspections: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs and process paperwork or customer signatures in accordance with company process and procedures.

Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience operating manual transmission vehicles is required.

Licensing: Valid Driver’s License Class B CDL or higher.

Driving Record: Clean motor vehicle record (MVR).

Physical Ability: Able to climb in and out of the truck cab frequently and handle physical aspects of delivery.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
