Seasonal Groundskeeper

Grandhaven Manor Communities are Luxury Senior Apartment Communities seeking a seasonal part-time groundskeeper in Lansing, MI. The Groundskeeper is an integral member of Grandhaven Manor’s team, meticulously maintaining our beautiful community’s curb appeal. S/he will be responsible for the care upkeep of the grounds, building exterior, parking lots, and other exterior aspects of Grandhaven Manor’s property.

This individual will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance of our exterior grounds, who's tasks may include:

• Daily review of Community grounds, including main front drive, all individual building entrances, outdoor parking areas, building entries, patios and landscaping.
• Daily Removal of trash and general cleanup of all grounds including parking lots, individual buildings and landscaping.
• Care, Assess & Assist with seasonal flower planting, (patios, main entrance, planters., etc., etc.,)
• Removal of trash from the apartment community perimeter..
• Assist the Activities Coordinator as chauffer for the Grandhaven Manor Bus as needed.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager and/or perform assigned projects and /or maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on building, grounds, and/or common areas to the Manager.
• Represent the community in a professional manner at all times-on/off property.

Expectations and Experience

• · Understanding of proper plant and lawn care practices
• · Keen eye for detail
• · Ability to lift at least 50lbs
• · Neat, clean and professional at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.
• · Demonstrate strong communication skills for communicating with residents, co-workers, and senior management.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
