Seasonal Groundskeeper / Marina Assistant – Outdoor Resort Work

We are hiring a part-time Seasonal Groundskeeper / Marina Assistant to join our team at The Pines of Kabetogama, a lakeside resort and RV campground on Lake Kabetogama near Voyageurs National Park.

This seasonal outdoor position supports several areas of resort operations including groundskeeping, marina and dock operations, and light maintenance. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working outside, staying active, and helping guests have a great experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resort grounds including mowing, trimming, and general landscaping
• Keep walkways, beaches, fire pits, and outdoor guest areas clean and organized
• Assist guests with boat docking and rentals
• Fuel boats while following marina safety procedures
• Inspect rental boats between uses and maintain marina areas
• Deliver firewood and ice to cabins and RV sites
• Assist with trash and recycling removal from property facilities
• Support light maintenance tasks and seasonal property projects

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license required; must have reliable transportation
• Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting, bending, and walking
• Friendly attitude when interacting with guests

Experience with boating, landscaping, maintenance, or marina operations is helpful but not required. Training is provided.

Schedule

• Seasonal position
• 20–25 hours per week on average
