Seasonal Groundskeeper / Property Caretaker (Part-Time or Full-Time)

Job Description
Holderness Farm is looking for a dependable, experienced individual to help maintain and care for a working farm property through the growing season.

This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in a job well done, and prefers steady, hands-on work over a fast-paced or corporate environment.

You’ll be responsible for keeping the property clean, orderly, and guest-ready on a day-to-day basis. We will host weddings and events so standards are high.

Responsibilities

• Lawn mowing, trimming, and general grounds maintenance
• Raking, cleanup, and seasonal property care
• Maintaining garden beds and shrubs (weeding, pruning, keeping things neat)
• Light tractor work and moving materials
• Minor repairs and general property upkeep
• Helping prepare the property for occasional events

• Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of conditions
• Experience with tools, equipment, or property maintenance
• Takes pride in keeping a place looking its best
• Easy to work with and consistent

• Semi-retired tradespeople
• Landscaping, farming, or property maintenance experience
• Someone looking for steady seasonal work with flexibility

Work Environment
You’ll be working on a well-kept farm property with open land, maintained grounds, and gathering spaces. The pace is steady and practical, with a focus on quality and consistency.
