Seasonal Help

Front Street Brewery is looking for seasonal help at our Freight House Tap Room for the Farmers Market on Saturday Mornings beginning in May! We are currently looking for bartenders, barbacks, and servers to help us through the summer. This position is perfect for anyone looking for a second job or students looking for extra money during the summer.

Duties

• Assisting customers with purchases.
• Stocking the bar for service
• Handling cash
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures
• Mixing drinks and pouring beers
• Proper age verification
• Utilize SpotOn POS for order entry and payment processing
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods
• Stay informed about drink specials, menu items, and promotions to enhance sales opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing; familiarity with retail math is a plus.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for the food industry and hospitality, along with an eagerness to learn about brewing techniques and cocktail recipes.

Pay: $8.00 - $10.00 per hour
