Comprehensive Land Technologies, Inc., based in South China, Maine, is seeking Seasonal Laborers to join our field operations team. This hands‑on role involves outdoor work across a range of land management and construction support projects, including industrial mowing, mechanized mulching, erosion control, and general site maintenance. We’re looking for individuals who enjoy physical work, operating equipment, and contributing to high‑quality project outcomes. Strong performers may be considered for full‑time employment at the end of the season.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with industrial mowing using walk‑behind and ride‑on equipment
- Support mechanized mulching operations and maintain safe work zones
- Serve as a spotter for water conveyance and diversion projects
- Perform general labor tasks such as brush clearing, debris removal, raking, shoveling, and site cleanup
- Follow all OSHA, DOT, and company safety procedures
- Conduct basic equipment checks, fueling, and routine maintenance as directed
- Work collaboratively with crew leaders and equipment operators to meet project timelines
- Assist with additional construction or land management tasks as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
- Experience in construction, landscaping, forestry, groundskeeping, or land management helpful but not required
- Experience working around heavy equipment (mowers, skid steers, excavators, mulching machines) is a plus
- Familiarity with outdoor labor tasks such as mowing, brush clearing, or erosion control preferred
- Willingness to complete company‑provided training on equipment operation, safety, and environmental best practices
Requirements
- Ability to safely work around heavy machinery and follow instructions
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and comply with random drug and alcohol testing
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast‑paced field environments
- Ability to interact professionally with customers and represent the company positively
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
