(SEASONAL) Milkshake Barista

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate, bright energy, and dedicated Ice Cream Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating delicious milkshakes, sorbet bowls, ensuring high-quality production, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a love for the food industry and a knack for deeply engaging with customers in a friendly, POSITIVE environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a variety of dessert orders according to established recipes.
• Operate ice cream machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Assist customers in selecting flavors and serving ice cream with positivity and enthusiasm.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system.
• Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food service or café industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
• Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with cash registers or POS systems.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
• A passion for ice cream and creativity in flavor development is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, mornings and weekends as needed.
