Seasonal Part-Time Sales Merchandiser

Job Summary

United Plant Growers is seeking a highly motivated Seasonal Part-Time Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, well‑organized product displays and ensuring efficient inventory management across your assigned stores. You will work closely with UPG Management and store personnel to execute merchandising strategies that drive sales while upholding our company values.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with store associates and store management to ensure garden centers are clean, organized, and customer-ready each day.
• Provide regular feedback and inventory updates to internal UPG teams.
• Develop and maintain an ordering schedule that ensures the right product mix and inventory levels based on store-specific sales performance.
• Maintain neat, visually appealing displays at all times.
• Rotate plants to ensure freshness and promote strong sell-through.
• Remove non-salable plants and consolidate displays to prepare for new deliveries.
• Properly use Movista to record all hours worked.
• Mandatory lunch break required before the fifth hour of work—no exceptions (see Employee Handbook for details).

• Proof of auto insurance must be provided.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
