Seasonal Tournament Grounds Crew

Duties

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to maintain lush, healthy turf.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, tree trimming, and shrub care to enhance aesthetic appeal.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, lawn equipment, and machinery such as excavators for landscaping projects and ground preparation.
• Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering of all landscaped areas.
• Maintain hardscape features like pathways, retaining walls, and other structures through routine inspections and minor repairs.
• Execute general groundskeeping duties including debris removal, soil grading, planting beds upkeep, and seasonal clean-up efforts.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as mowers or excavators.
• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance or gardening is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate construction or landscaping machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety protocols and quality standards. This position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your skills in groundskeeping while contributing to the success of community tournaments and events.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
