Job Summary

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Seasonal Tram Driver to transport visitors and guests along a fixed route at the gardens. Key duties include ensuring passenger safety, maintaining schedules, and providing friendly customer service. This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to operate in various weather conditions.

This is a part-time, seasonal position. The schedule includes mostly day hours with occasional night or weekends at 20-25 hours per week.

What You’ll Do

  • Driving a tram along designated route while adhering to all safety procedures.
  • Welcome guests, answer questions, and assist passengers.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip safety checks.
  • Communicate with staff using radios to coordinate operations and report incidents.

What You Bring

  • Valid driver's license (required).
  • Previous driving or customer service experience is preferred, but on-the-job training is provided.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to sit for long periods, work in outdoor weather conditions, and occassionally bend or lift.

Work Environment

  • Part-time (20-25 hours/week) with occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, rain, wind) and high noise levels.
