• Salary: USD250 per day.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Minimum 1 year experience as Second Engineer on DP vessels.
• Valid STCW III/2 certification.
• Demonstrated familiarity with high-speed craft propulsion systems (waterjets and/or fast diesel engines).
• Practical knowledge of DP support systems from an engineering perspective (power generation, redundancy, fault response).
• Ability to operate and maintain auxiliary machinery under rapid turnaround conditions.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset suited to compact engine room environments.
• Fluent working knowledge of English for technical communication.
• Flexibility to work in rotational shifts and respond to short-notice operations.

Tasks:

• Oversee daily operation and readiness of main engines, generators, and jet/propulsion systems on a fast crew boat.
• Execute planned maintenance with emphasis on minimizing downtime between short voyages.
• Monitor DP-related power systems to ensure stable performance during offshore crew transfers.
• Respond immediately to machinery alarms or failures, applying practical and time-efficient solutions.
• Maintain accurate engine logs, fuel records, and maintenance reports.
• Support the Chief Engineer in spare parts control and technical inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with safety, pollution prevention, and vessel-specific operational procedures.
• Conduct pre-departure checks focused on high-speed transit reliability.
• Assist in bunkering operations and monitor fuel efficiency during frequent runs.
• Coordinate with the deck team during crew transfer operations where machinery performance is critical.
