Summary

We are seeking a passionate Secondary Math Teacher to join our dedicated team at Genesee Academy. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction to students, fostering their academic development and preparing them for future success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Utilize effective behavior management strategies to create a positive learning environment.
• Provide individualized tutoring and mentoring to support student learning.
• Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and curriculum development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification required.
• Experience in behavior management and instructional design is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.

The starting salary pay for this position is $ 56,000, and it increases based on degrees and years of experience.
