Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated and qualified Secondary Psychology Teacher to deliver AS and A Level Psychology-and Sociology-within the Secondary School. The ideal candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and a passion for inspiring students while adhering to the UK curriculum framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for AS/A Level Psychology and Sociology.
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Develop schemes of work in line with UK curriculum standards.
• Assess, record, and report on students' academic progress.
• Collaborate with the Principal and Vice Principal on academic planning and school initiatives.
• Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and school events.
• Use basic Microsoft Office tools for lesson preparation and administrative tasks.
• Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Contribute to the overall ethos and development of the school.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Psychology (mandatory).
• A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in a UAE-based UK curriculum school (mandatory).
• Strong command of English.
• Strong subject expertise in Psychology (AS/A Level) and basic competency in Sociology.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PPT, Excel).
• Professionalism, adaptability, and teamwork.
