Job Summary:
The Secondary Teacher Floater works cooperatively with the Primary Teacher and assists in implementing Early Childhood Development learning experiences and activities and provides office support as needed.
PLEASE NOTE: Candidates must have a TCC or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or closely related field. A current valid CDA is also acceptable.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the implementation of daily lesson plans
* Knowledge of the curriculum and assessments
* Help to create and maintain a safe and healthy learning environment for all children
* Assist in maintaining complete and concise records for each child
* Assist in implementing IEP’s for children with disabilities
* Assist in completing daily attendance records, meals served, etc.
* Assist in the inventory of classroom materials and supplies, and store as directed
* Assist with lunchroom and bus duties, as assigned
* Assist with classroom clean-up, including bathroom
* Willingness to attend all staff meeting and required training.
* Provide office/administrative support to Center Manager
* Maintain confidentiality at all times.
* Perform other duties as necessary

Minimum Requirements of the Position
* Must have TCC or Diploma in ECE or closely related field from Technical school; current Valid CDA is also acceptable.
* Must be a US citizen; have a Permanent Resident Card, or an alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551)
* Must have and maintain a clean driving record (NOT TO EXCEED 6 PTS)
* Must have and maintain a criminal history absent of convictions for violent crimes or for any crime against children.
