Secondary Teacher – Mathematics & Physics (Grade IX & X)

Job Summary:

Skillston Education System is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Mathematics and Physics Teacher for grades IX and X. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to make complex concepts engaging and understandable for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in Mathematics and Physics in line with the secondary curriculum (Grade IX & X).
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that meet learning objectives and cater to varied student abilities.
• Prepare students for board examinations through rigorous practice, assessments, and conceptual understanding.
• Assess, record, and report on students’ progress regularly.
• Foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
• Maintain discipline and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the academic team to align teaching strategies, curriculum standards, and assessment methods.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students’ academic performance and behavior.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school-related activities as required.

Requirements:
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or B.Ed. will be an added advantage

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level (IX & X), preferably with board exam preparation.

Skills:

• Strong command over Mathematics and Physics concepts.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in lesson planning and student evaluation.
• Ability to use teaching aids and technology to enhance learning.

Commute: Must be able to easily commute to Saadi Town (mandatory).
