Secondary Teacher of Mathematics- August 2026 (Female Only)

Downe House Riyadh is seeking an exceptional and dedicated Secondary Mathematics Teacher to join our growing school from August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performing department and to inspire pupils through outstanding teaching and a deep passion for mathematics.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons across the Secondary phase, ensuring excellent progress for all learners. Person Specification

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from a good university. (E)
  • UK PGCE (or equivalent) if B.Ed. not held. (E)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). (E)
  • At least three years of high-quality Mathematics teaching experience. (E)
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, including A Level Mathematics. (E)
  • Strong academic background and professional credibility. (E)
  • Understanding of the demands of a UK independent day school environment. (D)
  • Commitment to academic progress and safeguarding. (E)
  • Experience in Mathematics curriculum development. (E)
  • Knowledge of current educational developments and best practice. (E)
  • Experience teaching EAL learners. (D)
