Section Head - Hot End

Responsibilities

• To monitor & implement SOP's for safety so as to build safe working environment by adherence to safety norms.
• To achieve & maintain the health of assets by continuous implementation & review of maintenance plan
• Review of annual budget for production quantity, yields, utility consumption, production spares & consumables, overheads and Capital Expenditure.
• Review and monitoring of budgets vs actual
• Evaluate and undertake the improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and equipments performance to support the smooth production
• Ensure conformity to project schedule, breakdown reduction trend, MTBF
• To review B/H, furnace, Metal Bath, & lehr operating parameters
• To facilitate and ensure maximum capacity utilization in order to achieve budgeted production volume
• To facilitate upgrade production equipments, processes and systems as per business requirement.
• Review of PPD Plan vs actual
• Facilitate QMS as per company guidelines.
• To Audit and review process quality management system for achieving target production yields - online.
• To drive improvement projects for reducing COP
• To Facilitate CFT activity to reduce cost.
• To review manpower development plan
• Total employees involvement
• To build up and maintain high morale and motivation in department members

Qualifications - B. Tech (Ceramics/Chemical )

Experience - 5- 10 Yrs

Preferred Industry - Float Glass

Preferred Skills - Annealing Leher/ Tin Bath.
