**ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A MOTOR VEHICLE RECORD CHECK - NO TICKETS, VIOLATIONS, POINTS, OR COLLISIONS WITHIN THE LAST 7 YEARS**

**ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE WILLING TO DRIVE DURING ALL SEASONS INCLUDING WEATHER SUCH AS RAIN AND SNOW.**

The Secure Transport Driver is primarily responsible for the secure transfer of marijuana products and payments between licensed marijuana facilities. The Secure Transporter will also interact with our customers at every juncture of the supply chain - growers, processors, and provisioning centers. Though it may seem so, this is not an simple job of delivering packages from A to B -- you will be expected to keep detailed records, communicate clearly, and troubleshoot problems on the go, all the while providing exceptional service to our customers. This position will put you on the road and on the forefront of a booming industry. As a representative of our company and this industry, you will be expected to showcase the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.

Training pay rate is $16.50 per hour. Once qualified as out of the training period of 90 days, pay is increased to $18.00 per hour.

This position is based in Hazel Park, MI, and will require daily travel to local and regional facilities.

Day-to-day functions will include:

• Prepare and inspect vehicle prior to departure
• Adhere to daily delivery manifest and other necessary documentation
• Appropriately seal and record packages and containers
• Drive cargo vans to make deliveries
• Maintain communications with dispatcher
• Present highest level of customer service etiquette in all customer interactions
• Engage intake managers and provide them with guidance
• Assist intake manager in receiving inventory
• Maintain general awareness of surroundings for suspicious activity
• Physical Requirements:
• Lift up to 50 pounds, as well as carry, twist, squat, kneel, and lower this load
• Carry loaded containers through narrow walkways, up and down stairs
• Enter and exit cargo vehicles, load and unload deliveries

General Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have State of Michigan Chauffeur License
• Must be able to pass Background Check clearance with NO felony charges
• Clean driving record (last 7 years)
• Ability to safely drive cargo vans Must pass comprehensive background check
• Professional and positive demeanor
• Ability to work days surrounding holidays (mandatory work dates)
• Good customer service
• Ability to drive in winter weather, rain, and other seasons

Start times are staggered each morning and vary daily. Once scheduled, the expectation is to work 8, 10, & 12 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise notified. The physical demands described for this position are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
