About the location:
Soon to be one of the region’s foremost luxury beachside destinations, The Red Sea will comprise of the idyllic natural islands and lagoons across 200 kms of coastline along the western coast of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, between the cities of Umluj and Al Wajh. The new Four Seasons Resort will be located on Shura Island, the hub of the development and home to a yacht marina, leisure and lifestyle facilities, retail offerings, 18-hole golf course and more. The Red Sea destination is being built with sustainable practices and tourism at its core, with the masterplan being informed by an impressive marine spatial planning simulation to model the environmental impact of development and operations to minimize over-tourism while providing guests with an exceptional travel and lifestyle experience. The destination will also rely on renewable energy and will only develop a small portion of the islands with expansive dedicated conservation zones. The new Four Seasons Resort will offer approximately 149 rooms and suites, all with uninterrupted views over white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. The property will also feature six restaurant and lounge outlets, meeting and events spaces, a marine discovery centre, Kids for All Seasons space and much more. The Security & Safety Assistant Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the security and safety operations of a luxury 5‑star hotel/resort environment. This position ensures the protection of guests, employees, and company assets while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, preparedness, and regulatory compliance. The role requires operational expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to risk management and emergency response, aligned with luxury service expectations.
- Oversee daily security and safety operations, ensuring full compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Review, analyze, and follow up on incident reports to ensure accurate documentation and timely resolution.
- Coordinate with Red Sea Global (RSG) and relevant stakeholders to address and resolve immediate security concerns, emergencies, and property-related incidents.
- Ensure proper handover and accountability of all security equipment, including keys, radios, buggies, time clocks, flashlights, and other assets; report discrepancies or damages.
- Conduct shift briefings, assign security personnel to posts, and ensure smooth shift handovers.
- Ensure all daily incident reports are completed and submitted accurately and on time.
- Verify that equipment issuance is fully recorded in all required registers and that incidents are correctly logged in the incident reporting database.
- Review the Activities Register and arrange appropriate security coverage for scheduled events and activities.
- Lead and oversee investigations of security‑related incidents, ensuring thorough documentation, follow‑up, and corrective action plans.
- Liaise closely with RSG personnel and external government agencies as required.
- Prepare comprehensive operational reports and summaries for management regarding incidents, trends, and resolutions.
- Direct and control emergency situations until relieved by senior management or appropriate authorities.
- Ensure consistent implementation of operational procedures and enforcement of company policies across the resort.
- Supervise Security Officers through regular patrols and checks to ensure performance, alertness, and proper post coverage.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to security personnel to enhance performance and professionalism.
- Conduct on‑the‑job training for new and junior team members and maintain accurate training records.
- Promote a culture of safety, awareness, and accountability within the department.
- Work closely with the Surveillance Department on all matters related to resort security.
- Immediately inform the Director of Loss Prevention of serious incidents, and seek guidance or instructions when required.
- Maintain effective communication with internal departments to support smooth operational coordination.
- Maintain a strong awareness of safety practices, company asset protection, and guest and employee welfare.
- Remain fully knowledgeable of all resort contingency plans including fire, evacuation, hurricane, bomb threat, food safety, pool and beach emergencies.
- Ensure that safety hazards and malfunctioning equipment are reported and addressed promptly.
- Enforce company rules, regulations, and all laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive and security‑related information.
- Attend required training sessions, briefings, and meetings.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a security role within a luxury 5‑star hotel or resort , including supervisory or senior-level responsibilities.
- Certified training in security operations, emergency response, fire safety, and first aid .
- Strong capability in emergency planning, risk assessment, incident management, and team leadership.
- Excellent administrative, organizational, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with security systems and digital reporting tools.
- Professional appearance and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages are considered an advantage.
