Description
The Security Manager is responsible for overseeing security operations, managing off site security personnel, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations to protect people, property and assets.
Duties And Responsibilities

Supervision of Security Staff: Manage and oversee a team of command center operators, including assigning shifts, monitoring performance, and providing training to ensure adherence to security protocols.

Responsible for SLA adherence

Responsible for audit/compliance to SOP

Primary client escalation point

Monitoring Security Operations: Ensure that all security procedures are followed, including access controls, surveillance, and emergency response.

Incident Management: Document and report security incidents promptly and
This includes maintaining records of incidents and security logs (DAR) for analysis and reporting.

Collaboration with Law Enforcement: Act as a point of contact with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies to support security operations and business interests

Emergency Response Coordination: Coordinate response efforts during emergencies, ensuring that all security personnel are trained on evacuation procedures and emergency

Investigations: Act as point of contact for internal investigations into incidents, and/or background checking.

Establishes proactive and collaborative relationships with security officers and site management to strengthen employee retention

Focuses on employee engagement initiatives

Identifies career development opportunities for current Aegis site staff and leadership

Coaches and mentors’ officers where and when appropriate

Provides post coverage as needed

Maintains all post documentation

Physical Requirements
