American Junkie Hermosa Beach is one of the highest-volume nightlife venues on the pier, known for high-energy crowds, strong weekend volume, and a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for Security / Door Staff who can help maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming atmosphere while managing high guest volume.

This role is ideal for someone who is alert, confident, and able to handle busy nightlife environments with professionalism and control.

Responsibilities

• Check IDs and manage guest entry in compliance with all laws and policies
• Monitor crowd flow and maintain a safe environment
• Handle guest interactions professionally and respectfully
• De-escalate situations and resolve issues calmly
• Work closely with management and staff to maintain order
• Enforce venue policies and standards

Qualifications

• Previous security, door staff, or nightlife experience preferred
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Professional presence and situational awareness
• Reliable and team-oriented
