Responsibilities

• Greet and verify all visitors, contractors, and residents with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring proper authorization before granting access
• Monitor entrances and exits using CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or unauthorized access
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and access records for accountability and reporting purposes
• Enforce safety protocols by performing security checks, including bag inspections or visual assessments when necessary
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents requiring additional support or intervention

Skills

• Strong understanding of security procedures, loss prevention techniques, and conflict management strategies
• Proficiency in surveillance systems such as CCTV for continuous monitoring of premises
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR to provide immediate assistance in medical emergencies
• Background in law enforcement, military service, or security roles that demonstrate discipline and situational awareness
• Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with diverse individuals and handle tense situations calmly
• Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining high levels of attentiveness and professionalism
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols relevant to the security industry
