Security & GR Specialist (UAEN)- Aldar Retail Management

Aldar Retail Management is looking for a Security & Government Relations Specialist to join the team at Al Jimi Mall in Al Ain. This role is critical in ensuring a safe, compliant, and secure retail environment while maintaining strong coordination with government authorities and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Security Operations

• Lead daily mall security operations, including guards, supervisors, and control room teams
• Maintain security policies, SOPs, and emergency response procedures
• Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and vulnerability reviews
• Oversee CCTV monitoring, access control systems, and alarm systems
• Manage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions
• Lead crowd management strategies during peak seasons, promotions, and special events
• Conduct joint audits with security service providers to ensure SLA and KPA compliance
• Record audit results in the FSI system and close monthly PMS reports
• Coordinate security support for major events, public holidays, and VVIP/VIP visits
• Follow up on insurance-related security cases with the administration team

Government Relations & Compliance

• Act as the main liaison with government authorities including Police, Civil Defence, Municipality, MCC, ITC, and Protocol Office
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations, licensing requirements, and security standards
• Coordinate government inspections and regulatory audits
• Facilitate approvals for events, operational changes, and security system upgrades
• Prepare and submit required documentation and reports to regulatory authorities

Emergency & Crisis Management

• Lead emergency drills and evacuation exercises
• Coordinate with Civil Defence and emergency services during incidents
• Ensure tenant compliance with safety procedures and evacuation standards
• Support and lead crisis response during major incidents

Tenant & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Support tenants with security requirements and event-related planning
• Address security concerns from retailers and stakeholders
• Maintain strong coordination with mall management and operations teams

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Prepare weekly and monthly security performance reports
• Analyse incident trends and recommend preventive measures
• Identify and implement technology improvements to strengthen security operations

Requirements

• UAE National (Mandatory)
• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in security operations within retail malls or large facilities
• Strong knowledge of UAE security regulations and compliance frameworks
• Experience managing VVIP or high-profile visits
• Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage security teams and vendors
