Duties

• Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems (CCTV) to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or hazards
• Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents or security breaches, utilizing first aid and CPR skills when necessary
• Enforce loss prevention protocols to minimize theft and unauthorized access
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records for accountability and review

Skills

• Familiarity with security procedures, loss prevention strategies, and conflict management methods
• Ability to remain alert, attentive, and calm during extended periods of surveillance or patrols
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors
• Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and discretion

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
