Security Guard

This position is for a security guard at a Hookah Lounge/ Bar in Dc.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
• Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees while maintaining detailed access logs
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies using conflict management skills and first aid knowledge when necessary
• Enforce loss prevention strategies by identifying potential theft or misconduct and taking appropriate action
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies to ensure proper procedures are followed
• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly
• Thursday Fridays and Saturdays the days needed

Experience

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred to handle medical emergencies confidently
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security best practices
• Ability to perform physical patrols and stand for extended periods as required
• Excellent communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration with emergency responders

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
