Security Guard – Full-Time | Evening & Overnight Schedule

Join Ginger Cove, a premier life-care community in Annapolis known for providing a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Security Guard to help maintain the safety and security of our community.

Schedule:

Monday & Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Friday & Saturday: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM
4-day work week
Consistent, predictable schedule

What You’ll Do:

Conduct routine patrols of buildings and grounds
Monitor entrances, exits, and overall property security
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports
Assist residents, staff, and visitors as needed
Ensure doors and access points are secure
Provide reception desk coverage when needed

Job Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
Previous security experience preferred (not required)
Valid Maryland driver’s license
Strong communication and observation skills
Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented
Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergencies
