Security Guards (set schedule FRI SAT SUN)

True North Organics/The Flower Shop is a Medical Cannabis Company looking for a professional security guard to protect our premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Security Guard

· The Security guards are responsible for granting or denying access to facilities, opening, and closing the door for customers, performing verification of inbound and outbound personnel, and conducting surveillance of vehicles. SecFor Officers are also responsible for monitoring surveillance and security cameras via CCTV, patrolling the facility and surrounding area, providing security / safety escorts for visitors, employees, delivery personnel and customers. SecFor Officers must be constantly alert, vigilant, and aware of their surroundings and the general operations of the facility and will observe, report, and record all suspicious activities.

· The duties listed below are not all inclusive and subject to change without notice. Employees will be cross trained to provide security support at all three company facilities.

Security Guard-

· Develop a Basic understanding of day-to-day use of logs, an understanding of policies, regulations, and technical systems for the site they are working at.

· Initiate and maintain daily logs and incident reports for both True North Organics (TNO) / The Flower Shop (TFS) and external agencies as required.

· Monitor all camera systems and respond to all alarms for the site.

· Respond to and relay all pertinent information to the Head of Security, site leadership team and external agencies if / when applicable.

· May be required to assist Pharmacy Agents with patient verification, light cleaning of facility, and snow / ice removal.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Represent the Company in a positive / professional manner Granting and / or denying access to the facility.

· Perform verification of inbound and outbound delivery vehicles.

· Monitor surveillance cameras via CCTV.

· Provide safety escort for employees and customers.

· Observe and report any suspicious or unlawful activities.

· Conduct foot patrol of property and surrounding area.

· Inspecting building, personnel, and access points

· Obtain help by sounding alarms or calling the local emergency department as necessary.

· Remain in compliance with all local, state, and federal ordinances.

· Protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, and fire hazards.

· Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and fire incidents.

· Occasionally initiate / complete incident reports

· Other Duties as Assigned

Key Requirements:

· Must be 21 +

· Must pass live scan fingerprinting, regulatory background and motor vehicle check.

· Must possess or be able to possess a valid Utah Driver’s License

· Must have reliable transportation. (Employees May be required to travel to all three locations to provide training or security support to the site.)

· High school diploma or equivalent (Some college is a plus)

· Prior experience in security operations, asset protection / loss prevention and customer service is a plus.

· Excellent interpersonal skills as it relates to interaction with customers and / or the public

· Knowledge of security operations and procedures

· Surveillance and alertness always.

· Safety management and professionalism

· Ability to stand for long periods of time (45-minutes or more) without relief.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

· Perform Other Duties as Assigned

· Brigham City

Friday

10am-8pm

Saturday and Sunday 6AM-6PM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
