Job Description
Scorpios Bodrum is in search of a Security Manager to join our team. The role involves ensuring the safety and protection of Scorpios employees, customers, and property, which includes the responsibility of checking guests entering the premises. The Security Officer will be expected to uphold Scorpios' standards and core values, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain operational standards in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Duties also involve periodic patrols of the Scorpios premisses and its surroundings. The ideal candidate will have strong surveillance skills, sound judgment, objectivity, dependability, emotional control, integrity, and a firm commitment to safety management and professionalism.

Responsibilities
Pre-Opening:

Coordinate all security measures with Maxx Royal Management, ensuring alignment with their guidelines.
- Develop and finalize the Protection Plan and Emergency Action Plan for scenarios like fire, earthquakes, and other emergencies.
- Ensure security personnel are licensed, trained, and fully compliant with Law No. 5188.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and establish preventive security strategies.
- Ensure all legal permits, licenses, and liability insurance are obtained and maintained for security services.
- Organize initial security drills in collaboration with OH&S specialists to prepare for emergencies.
- Set up and test security equipment, ensuring functionality before operations begin.
Quality and Execution:
Implement security procedures for specific scenarios, including:

Guests carrying firearms
- Contractor security (maintenance and construction)
- Active attack situations
- Foreign object (physical contamination) complaints
- Bomb threats, fire safety, accidents, and food poisoning incidents
- Medical assistance for guests and staff
- Earthquakes and other crisis management situations
- Lost and found, safe box access, and key control
- Ensure CCTV systems are monitored and used appropriately according to established guidelines.
- Address security incidents, such as theft or assaults, with proper documentation and reporting to law enforcement and internal teams.
- Monitor compliance with Law No. 5188, ensuring all security personnel meet legal requirements, including background checks and training certifications.
Operational:

Oversee daily coordination with Maxx Royal Security Authorities for incident reporting and resolution.
- Supervise security personnel, ensuring adherence to identification, dress code, and legal requirements during duty.
- Manage the Private Security Information System (OGBS) and ensure timely reporting of incidents to relevant authorities.
- Conduct regular security drills, including evacuation procedures and emergency response, in collaboration with OH&S specialists.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all security-related activities, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and company policies.
- Provide regular updates to management on security issues, staffing, and performance, recommending infrastructure improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and report criminal activities or suspicious behavior promptly.
Off-Season Responsibilities:

Review and update the Protection Plan, Emergency Action Plan, and other security procedures based on past performance and future needs.
- Conduct refresher training sessions for security personnel to maintain readiness for the upcoming season.
- Assess and update security equipment, ensuring it meets current standards and operational needs.
- Prepare detailed reports on off-season security activities and submit them to management for review.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and authorities to strengthen relationships and review incident responses from the previous season.
- Perform risk assessments to identify new vulnerabilities and update the security strategy as necessary.
- Ensure all legal submissions, including permits and licenses, are renewed and up to date.
