Position Overview:

We are seeking a mission-focused Security Manager to lead security operations within the Memphis market. The Security Manager will oversee daily security operations, lead and develop teams, manage client relationships, ensure compliance, and drive operational performance across assigned locations. Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

• Provide direct leadership and oversight for all assigned security personnel across one or multiple locations
• Apply military leadership principles to maintain operational discipline, accountability, and mission readiness
• Serve as the primary liaison between client leadership and company management for all security-related matters
• Lead incident response, crisis management, emergency preparedness, and operational escalations
• Ensure all security operations are conducted with precision, professionalism, and adherence to established protocols

Workforce Leadership & Development

• Recruit, train, mentor, supervise, and develop supervisors and security officers using structured leadership practices
• Instill a culture of integrity, chain of command, professionalism, and team cohesion
• Maintain staffing readiness through effective scheduling, personnel planning, and workforce development
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, corrective action, and leadership succession planning

Client & Mission Success

• Build strong partnerships with client leadership through trust, responsiveness, and consistent service delivery
• Ensure all service expectations, operational standards, and security objectives are met or exceeded
• Maintain effective communication channels to support situational awareness and proactive problem-solving
• Address operational challenges with decisive leadership and solution-oriented execution

Compliance & Performance Management

• Ensure full adherence to company policies, security protocols, and operational reporting requirements
• Drive performance metrics related to workforce quality, staffing, scheduling, expense management, and service delivery
• Oversee incident documentation, audits, inspections, and operational readiness assessments
• Identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective action plans to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Asset & Resource Accountability

• Maintain oversight of all security equipment, patrol vehicles, and operational resources
• Ensure accountability, maintenance, and readiness of all assigned assets
• Promote safety, preparedness, and operational excellence across all assigned responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

• Prior military service required (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, National Guard, or Reserves)
• Leadership experience in military operations, force protection, law enforcement, security management, or related command structure
• Proven ability to lead teams, enforce standards, and operate effectively in high-pressure environments
• Experience with personnel supervision, mission execution, emergency response, and operational planning
• Strong understanding of chain of command, accountability systems, and performance management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Must pass extensive pre-employment screening

Pay & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000/yr
