Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Conducts regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion and ensure building security.
  • Operates and monitors security control panels, alarms, and surveillance systems to identify and respond to potential security breaches.
  • Responds promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies. Collaborates with other security personnel, law enforcement, and emergency services as required.
  • Manages access to the facility by verifying identification and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
  • Maintains accurate and detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • May provide ground safety and security on behalf of the Flight Department.
  • May provide executive transportation/security escorts and participate on Executive Protection details.
  • Enforces company security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance by all employees and visitors.
  • Participates in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with security practices and technologies.
  • May obtain a valid firearms license and may be required to carry the firearm on duty.
  • Serves as a first responder and maintains Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and First Aid Certifications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Maintains certifications for AED/CPR and First Aid. Maintain a valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record. May be required to obtain and maintain a valid Concealed Carry Firearms License. Annual firearms qualification is required for those holding a valid Concealed Carry Firearms License.

Experience: No prior experience is required.

Scope of Job/Qualifications: Strong observational and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to remain calm under pressure. Proficiency in defensive tactics and emergency response. Proficient in surveillance techniques and utilizing security technologies. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
