Security Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to safeguard our dispensary center. Duties

• Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies using conflict management skills
• Conduct patrols of the premises to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities
• Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents as required
• Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security breaches for accountability and review

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
• Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems (Closed-Circuit Television)
• Knowledge of conflict management techniques and emergency response procedures
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and decisively
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, law enforcement, and the public
• Familiarity with security protocols, loss prevention methods, and basic law enforcement principles
