Position Summary:
The Security Officer position ensures the safety and security of Guests, Team Members, and Company assets. This position performs responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Patrol and observe all public areas, Team Member service areas, and company grounds for the safety of Guests and Team Members.
4. Respond to all disturbances. Be aware of your surroundings and prepared to become involved in a physical confrontation if necessary.
5. Observe, report, and respond to all suspicious and unusual situations.in accordance with department and company policy.
6. Know and enforce all applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
7. Detect and address actions and hazards that may result in liability for the company.
8. Respond to and assist in all emergencies, including but not limited to fires, medical emergencies, and criminal activity.
9. Have thorough knowledge and perform evacuation procedures for the property.
10. Transport and protect company funds and assets.
11. Conduct follow-up investigations on reports as directed.
12. Complete incident reports as directed by Security Management.
13. Assist in the lost and found process including receiving, logging, storing, and returning lost items.
14. Facilitate and assist the Guests with the Self-Restriction process as requested.
15. Assume Dispatch role, assigning Security personnel on shift to designated tasks, ensure
communication flows, and log information.
16. Maintain a daily log of activities and incidents involving Security.
17. Maintain a high level of personal integrity.
18. Maintain confidentiality of all information related to company and security operations.
19. Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized and positive work
atmosphere.
20. Maintain grooming and uniform standards.
21. Inspect and maintain all company issued equipment.
22. Have knowledge of SDS booklet location for your assigned area and familiarization.
23. May assume the role of Bike Security Officer on foot or in a company vehicle.

Non-Essential Functions:
1. Organizing their work area, including, but not limited to, the Security Dispatch Office, Security Podium, the Security Administration Office, and Security vehicles, keeping those work areas clean.
2. Administrative tasks as assigned by management, including, but not limited to:
a. Reconciliation of lost and found items after their retention period.
b. Assignment, reassignment, and clearing of Team Member lockers.
c. Stocking/checking inventory to Security workspaces and Medical Bags.
