Duties

• Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Control access to the premises by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, ensuring safety for all parties involved.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations.
• Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incident reports, and shift documentation to ensure accountability.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation.
• Certified in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies.
• Experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles demonstrating discipline and situational awareness.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to deter theft and protect assets.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions under pressure.
