Security Officer

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct security checks and inspections of designated areas
• Enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance
• Provide assistance to patrons, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Handle conflicts or incidents calmly and effectively, following proper protocols
• Complete accurate and detailed incident reports
• Create badges for visitors, employees and drivers

Requirements:

• High school diploma required (GED), or security experience
• 2 years associate degree preferred; will consider combination of education and prior experience
• Computer experience with Microsoft tool (excel, word etc.)
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations with composure
• Physical fitness to perform regular patrols up to 8 miles a day and respond quickly if needed
• Must be able to obtain a security license through the state of Wisconsin

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
