Security Officer

Job Summary:

The Security Officer is responsible for:

• Patrolling an assigned outdoor area and be responsible for providing high levels of customer service
• Preventing violations of Las Vegas Monorail rules and regulations, as well as violations of local, state, and federal laws; providing crowd control
• Responding and providing First Aid to include CPR in cases of emergency
• Enforcing company policy and procedures, protecting property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire and accidents
• Investigating and writing accurate reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards and other security related situations
• Providing any needed assistance to customers, employees, and vendors; monitoring all activities on Las Vegas Monorail property
• May temporarily perform duties of a Security Supervisor as assigned, and perform other related duties as assigned by a Security Supervisor, or Security Manager.

Qualifications:

Must be able to work weekends, evenings, holidays and overtime

One year of experience in security operations preferred.
