Schedule: Thursday and Friday: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Saturday and Sunday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Citadel Security USA is seeking a professional and customer-focused Unarmed Security Officer to support security operations at a hospitality property in downtown Denver. This position combines traditional security responsibilities with guest service, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people while helping maintain a safe and welcoming environment.

The selected officer will work closely with hotel staff, monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and assist guests when needed. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm in a variety of situations.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations

• Monitor hotel property, common areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds
• Observe suspicious activity, safety concerns, or policy violations
• Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas throughout the shift
• Respond to security-related incidents in accordance with established procedures
• Maintain awareness of activity occurring throughout the property
  
  

Surveillance & Reporting

• Operate CCTV and electronic monitoring systems
• Review and document security-related events and observations
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports accurately and on time
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, or security issues to appropriate personnel
  
  

Guest & Staff Support

• Respond to requests for assistance from hotel employees and guests
• Provide directions and general information in a courteous manner
• Assist with access control and restricted area monitoring when required
• Maintain a professional and approachable presence throughout the property
  
  

Communication & Compliance

• Communicate effectively with management, hotel staff, and fellow officers
• Follow site-specific instructions, emergency procedures, and company policies
• Support a safe, respectful, and service-oriented environment
• Participate in training and operational updates as assigned
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work on the assigned full-time schedule
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to remain attentive and make sound decisions under pressure
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security experience preferred
• Current Guard Card preferred
• Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred
• Experience working in hospitality, hotels, resorts, or guest-facing environments is a plus
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and report writing is beneficial
