Pay: $19.00/hr base + $1.00/hr fuel reimbursement = $20.00/hr total

Job Type: Part-Time Hours: ~12 hrs/week (2 hrs/night x 6 nights)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a reliable and community-minded individual to serve as an Agent / Patrol Agent for Special Operations within modular home communities. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safety, visibility, and resident satisfaction through consistent nightly patrols, documentation, and proactive community engagement.

This is not a traditional security position. Our agents are community liaisons who build relationships with residents, address concerns professionally, and represent our organization with integrity.

SCHEDULE

• 2 hours of patrol per property, per night
• 6 nights per week: Monday through Saturday (standard rotation)
• Day off rotates every two weeks: one week off is Sunday, the following week off is Monday
• Example: Week 1 off = Sunday | Week 2 off = Monday | Week 3 off = Sunday (repeating)
• Patrol times will be assigned and may vary — flexibility required
• Total scheduled hours: approximately 12 hours per week

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Conduct vehicle patrols of community perimeters, access points, parking areas, and common spaces using your own personal vehicle
• Perform foot patrols throughout assigned communities
• Monitor and document access points and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity
• Respond to resident concerns, complaints, and requests in a professional and courteous manner
• Distribute informational materials and communicate updates to residents as directed
• Serve as a community liaison — build positive relationships with residents and management
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, including:
• Duty logs (physical and/or electronic submission)
• Incident reports
• Violation citations
• Report all observations and activity through designated reporting systems

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to pass an Ohio BCI (Bureau of Criminal Investigation) background check
• Must comply with Ohio unarmed security licensing requirements under ORC 4749.03
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for patrol use
• Fuel reimbursement of $1.00/hr is included in total compensation
• Ability to work scheduled nightly hours Monday through Saturday with a rotating day off on Sunday
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to de-escalate situations calmly and professionally
• Must be punctual, dependable, and self-motivated

UNIFORM & APPEARANCE

A professional appearance is required at all times while on duty:

• All-black boots or shoes (required — must be work-appropriate)
• Solid black pants (required — provided by employee. We will tell you what pants to buy)
• Uniform shirts and jackets will be provided by the company

COMPENSATION

• Base hourly rate: $19.00/hour
• Fuel reimbursement: $1.00/hour
• Total effective rate: $20.00/hour
