Oculus Systems Security is seeking a Full-Time Dispatcher to join our growing team in Denver, Colorado.

Our dispatch team serves as the operational backbone of our organization. This role is critical to ensuring our officers, clients, and management team receive exceptional support and communication 24 hours a day.

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and confident Dispatcher who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the central point of communication for a growing organization.

The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, comfortable managing multiple priorities at once, and capable of making sound decisions under pressure. Previous dispatch or scheduling experience is preferred, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate who demonstrates strong character, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.

This is a full-time, in-person position.

Compensation

Starting salary range: $25–$28 per hour

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.

Additional opportunities for bonuses and performance-based incentives may be available.

Requirements

  • Dispatch, scheduling, operations, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence speaking with employees, clients, and leadership over the phone.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computers, email, and common office software.
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check and random drug testing.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred; bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary communication hub between field personnel, clients, and management.
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently.
  • Schedule, dispatch, and coordinate security personnel to assigned locations.
  • Monitor officer activity and maintain operational awareness throughout shifts.
  • Respond to staffing challenges and coordinate coverage for open assignments.
  • Document incidents, communications, and operational updates accurately.
  • Assist with employee call-offs, schedule adjustments, and shift changes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and updates.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports using company software systems.
  • Support management with administrative and operational tasks as needed.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and sound judgment in all situations.
